  1. We offer a 6-race series. 
    • 150 Mile
    • 212 Mile
    • 264 Mile
    • 300 Mile
    • 340 Mile
    • 380 Mile
  2. Races will start in mid-October - weather permitting. 
  3. The perch fee is $150 per bird or pay for 3 get 1 free or pay for 6 and get 2 free. 
  4. The perch fee is non-refundable. 
  5. The Perch fee is due before shipping of the birds or with the birds. 
  6. Accepting birds from April 15th to June 15thReplacements accepted through June 30th
  7. All birds must be vaccinated for PMV at least 14 days before arriving at the loft. 
  8. All birds must be banded with a 2026 seamless band recognized by a National Organization (AU, IF, CU...etc). 
  9. Activation fee is $350 per bird. 
  10. The activation fee is due after the 100 Mile Activation Race and before the 150 Mile Race. Any paid bird(s) that are lost before the 150 Mile Race will be refunded the $350 Entry Fee. 
  11. Sprint Average Speed is $100 per bird paid to the best average speed bird(s) after the 100, 150, 212 mile races and top 3 places among Sprint nominated birds on each race. Prizes based on number of entries. 
  12. Hawk Bait Challenge only for colored birds that are 60% or more color other than blue.  Payment is due with activation after the 100 miles and $100 per bird; Paid first bird on the final race 380 miles. Prizes based on number of entries. 
  13. The Optional Cuevas Triple Crown Challenge is $100 per bird paid to the best average speed bird(s) in the 300, 340, 380 Mile Races. Entry fee due by shipping of the 264 Mile Race. A refund will be given if the bird is lost before the 1st 300 Mile Race. Prizes based on number of entries. 
  14. 15% of all entry fees will be held for race expenses. 
  15. The final race will be paid on the first drop and then clocking order. 
  16. Prizes will be paid to the top 10% of birds going to the final race. 
  17. You MUST activate all your birds or ownership will be lost. 
  18. All birds will belong to the breeders/owners of entry. 
  19. A tax identification number (IRS W-9) will be required prior to awarding any prize value at $600 or more. 
  20. Return fees must be paid and birds must be retrieved within 15 days of the last race 
  21. If fees are not received in full within 15 days, the remaining birds become the property of the Cuevas Classic. 
  22. Return Shipping of birds after the race - $75 + $10 each additional bird (up to three birds per box) 
  23. We will be using BENZING One Loft Race clocking system & Wincompanion for live results. 
  24. All races will be paid within 21 days of the final race. 
  25. In the event of any unforeseen incident (i.e. including but not limited to birds that do not make it to the final race or return from the final race), the prizes will be split equally with the birds that were basketed to the last race. 
  26. In the event of a hard race, the clock will stop the 3rd race day at 12 PM local time. Any paid position not filled within that time period will be divided equally among all clocked birds for that race. 
  27. Cuevas Classic will not be held responsible for birds lost to unforeseen events. 
  28. Cuevas Classic has the right to refuse service/entry to any breeder or attendee at their discretion. 
  29. Cuevas Classic reserves the right to make any and all decisions. 
  30. All birds will be vaccinated for P.M.V. upon arrival. 
  31. All birds will have their 9th and 10th flights cut and pulled, regardless of the date the bird is received.
